Qualifications
Candace started her long real estate career by working in the Bangor area for a small brokerage, then started her own agency, Blackstone Real Estate, which she brought with her when she moved to York. In 1986 she formed CM Appraisals, became a Certified Residential Appraiser in Maine and New Hampshire, and since then has provided lenders, attorneys and individuals with a variety of appraisal services. She is a Notary, a member of the Chamber of Commerce in York, and an expert witness in courts in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. In 2008 she was instrumental in starting the Appraiser Network of Maine/New Hampshire, a group of appraisers, brokers, and others with real estate interests. Candace is married to and works with her husband Ben (no longer licensed but offers informative helpful advice when he's not out in the barn working on cute little English sports cars); they have four children, six grandchildren, a great-granddaughter and two fur-babies. For relaxation she reads and knits, sometimes simultaneously.

Qualifications
After a 33 year banking career ranging from teller to residential and commercial lending, Ben joined Candace at CM Appraisals in 2003 and became a Certified Residential Appraiser in Maine and New Hampshire. His interests include old cars and trucks and antique Cub Cadet garden tractors.

Kipper joined the CM Appraisal family as a 9 month old pup in 2004. Besides Quality Control, his services in the office included greeting clients, consultations and maintaining office morale.
